It was a great show with excellent weather. What a way to cap off Fathers Day. The Sno*Cone booth sold over 900+ cones and the reported attendance was ~5000 people. A few pictures:

| March 5, 2017 | ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is a nothing less than a nightmare for those living with it, as well as their families. ALS is a progressing neurodegenerative disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Mariann Saloom was diagnosed with ALS in September 2014. She now needs full-time care around the clock. Her husband, Rod, dedicates all his time to ensure Mariann is comfortable and taken care of. Rod is raffling his 1928 Model A Ford Coupe, a car that has been in the Saloom Family for over 50 years, to relieve the costs of Mariann's care services See INFO for more details. Beverly may be joined by a delegate from Congresswoman Barbara Comstock's office in granting this well-deserved recognition to the many members of our club who had qualifying service. The ceremony will begin at 8:00 p.m., and will be followed by pies by Mike Copperthite, served with ice cream and coffee. |
